What this site is, what it is not, and whose names appear on it.

Most of what follows is the ordinary set every site needs. The section that matters most is the first one, and it is short: DATUM has nothing to do with Autodesk.

1. Trade marks

Autodesk® and Revit® are registered trade marks of Autodesk, Inc. and/or its subsidiaries and affiliates, in the United States and in other countries. Any other product or company name appearing on this site is the trade mark of whoever owns it.

DATUM is independent of Autodesk, Inc.

DATUM is not affiliated with Autodesk. It is not authorised, endorsed, sponsored, certified, reviewed or approved by Autodesk in any way, and nothing on this site should be read as suggesting otherwise. There is no partnership, no reseller agreement and no arrangement of any kind between us.

Autodesk's name is used here for one reason only: to say which software these templates and add-ins are made for. A person deciding whether to buy a Revit template has to be told it is for Revit, and there is no way to say that without naming the product. That is the whole extent of it.

We do not use Autodesk's logos or brand marks anywhere, and we do not sell, license or supply Autodesk software. You need your own Revit licence, from Autodesk or from one of their resellers, and it is governed by their terms, not ours.

DATUM's own products are named DATUM. Where a page says "Revit templates" or "Revit plugins", it is describing what they work with, in the same way a book about a camera names the camera.

2. What the products are, and what they are not

The templates and add-ins are working tools for producing architectural documentation. They are not, and must not be relied on as, professional, legal or engineering advice.

Responsibility for a project stays with whoever designs it. A template can carry a sheet layout, a set of styles and a library of families; it cannot know your site, your client, your building or which version of a regulation applies on the day you submit. Every drawing produced with these files remains yours to check against the standards, the building code and the permitting requirements that apply to your project. The same is true of anything an add-in writes into a model: the preview exists so you can read the change before it happens, and reading it is part of using the tool.

Schedules, quantities and areas are calculated from what is actually in your model. They are as correct as the model is, which is to say they are a starting point for checking, not a substitute for it.

3. The information on this site

We try to keep the site accurate and current, and we correct what turns out to be wrong. Even so, pages describing products, prices, compatibility or timing can be out of date, and a figure written for one Revit release may not hold for the next. Where a product page and a general page disagree, the product page is the one that governs the sale, and nothing on this site displaces the terms of sale.

Screenshots and sample drawings show output produced with these products. They illustrate; they are not a promise that your project will look identical, because what a drawing looks like depends on what you draw.

4. Links to other sites

Where we link out — to a payment provider, to Autodesk, to a font licence — we do it because it is useful. We do not control those sites, we are not responsible for what is on them, and a link is not an endorsement. Their terms and their privacy policies apply once you are there.

5. Liability

We are liable for what the law makes us liable for, and this section does not try to move that line.

In particular, nothing here limits liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, for fraud, or for anything else that cannot lawfully be excluded — and it does not touch the rights a consumer has under section 5 of the terms, which are the conformity rules of Directive (EU) 2019/770 and of Bulgarian consumer law. Those rights exist whatever any page says.

Beyond that: the site is provided as it is, we do not warrant that it will be available without interruption, and we are not liable for indirect or consequential loss arising from using it — for example, loss of profit or of anticipated savings — where the law permits that limit.

6. Which law, and which court

Bulgarian law applies, and disputes go before the competent Bulgarian courts.

With one exception, and it is in your favour. If you are a consumer in the European Union, this clause does not take anything away from you. Under Regulation (EU) 1215/2012 you may bring a claim in the courts of the country where you live, and you may only be sued there. Under Regulation (EC) 593/2008 you keep the protection of the mandatory consumer rules of your own country. A term that tried to route every dispute to Sofia would be unfair and would simply not bind you, so it is not written that way.

7. Cookies, in one paragraph

This site sets no analytics cookie, no advertising pixel and no third-party cookie of any kind, which is why you have never been asked to accept any. What it keeps is a handful of settings in your own browser — your theme, your currency, whether prices show with VAT, what is in your cart — and those never leave your device or reach us. The cookie page lists every one of them by name, says how long it lasts and how to clear it.

If a third-party script is ever added, that page changes first and a real consent step appears before the script loads. That is the order the ePrivacy rules require and it is not negotiable.

8. Changes

This page can change. The date at the top says when it last did. A change here does not alter a contract already concluded — the terms you agreed to at the time of your purchase are the ones that govern it.
