Behind DATUMarch. Ivo Ivanov
Ivo Ivanov is an architect based in Sofia. He works on residential and public buildings, at Studio Keremidski and in his own practice, and takes as much care over how a project is documented as over how it is designed — a clear line hierarchy, annotation that is consistent from the first sheet to the last, and drawings that can be read without being explained.
Alongside architecture he develops tools for Revit. DATUM began as the standard he set up for his own projects and has grown into a set of templates and native plugins for the same work. Everything offered here is drawn from practice: it is built for a live project first, used on a full set of sheets, and only then made available.
